San Saba County Friends of Animals

San Saba County Friends of Animals held their first meeting of 2024 on Monday, January 9th. The board said goodbye to past president and co-founder, Katherine Beckes. New officers were elected: Regina Baker – President, Bill Baker – Vice President, Sylvia Donath – Secretary, Robyn Dial – Treasurer, Kim Wells – Director at large, Michelle McKinnerney – Director at large, and Cyndi Fey – Director at large. After announcing the new officers, the newly elected board discussed volunteer opportunities, fundraising ideas, and other agenda items.

Because the organization was set to close at the end of last year, San Saba County Friends of Animals is in desperate need of fundraising to continue the Spay and Neuter program that has more than 80 cats on the TNR list, feed foster animals, pay for fosters vet bills, and more.

San Saba County Friends of Animals released a new website in November: sansabaanimals. com. The website will allow potential adopters to see the available animals and complete paperwork online, allow people to donate; in addition it will offer resources for our local area.

To foster, adopt, volunteer, or donate, please visit sansabaanimals. com. Together, we can save the animals of San Saba County.
