Andrea was recognized by US Congressman from Texas' 11th Congressional District, August Pfluger. Ms. Wright is to be commended for her excellence in teaching art in the public schools and for providing her students opportunities to expand their artistic talents and creativities! She quotes Michelangelo, “the greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark!”
Following Ms. Wright’s presentation to the club, San Saba Rotary President Beth Griess and the San Saba Rotary Club proclaimed that San Saba ISD participation in the Youth Art Month Flag Design and the Big Art Day Event raised awareness for advocacy and communicated the importance of having a quality visual arts program at the local, regional, and state levels.
