The February 1st lunchtime meeting of the San Saba Rotary was held in the Community Room of the Commercial National Bank. Marcus Wood presided, and there were 13 members present.
Follow up business included: catering for the Spring Honor and Scholarship Banquet for Honor Students from the three county high schools, San Saba, Richland Springs, and Cherokee; sale of Eclipse T-shirts as a Rotary fundraiser; placement of American flags for the upcoming federal holidays; and finally, highway cleanup, a regular Rotary project and this time will be after the Eclipse and the expected increase in the amount of possible trash as a result of the crowds visiting to observe the solar phenomena in April!
