The Richland Springs Preservation Society held their regular monthly Tuesday, Nov. 18th. There were seven members present.
The November Community Potluck scheduled for Nov. 23 was cancelled in order for the community to support the RSHS Junior class' chili lunch that day. The next scheduled potluck will be Jan. 25, 2026.
The Preservation Society will be having a chili lunch during the Christmas Market on Nov. 29th. We've had 50 lbs. of meat donated by Frank and Cydney Pearce. Tami and Morris Lusty will be doing the cooking. Members are asked to donate cookies. It will start at 11 a.m., and last until food runs out. There is no charge, but donations are appreciated.
Four new windows for the bank building have been ordered and paid for. Installation will begin in a few weeks.
Paige Moats announced that the railroad is giving the Preservation Society a donation of $2,500.00. There will be a presentation and photos with them on Dec. 4th at 2 p.m.
It was recommended and approved that since the bank corner is so beautifully decorated for Christmas, that we open the lobby area and allow people to host a Christmas party or event there for a donation. Anyone interested may get in touch with Paige Moats at 918-340-0035 to schedule and get details.
There will be no December meeting. The next regular meeting will be January 13th.
