Property reappraisal has begun in San Saba for the 2025 tax year. An employee from the San Saba Central Appraisal District will be going through the San Saba area and updating pictures and information on improvements. The appraiser will have a sign on the side of his pickup showing that he is with the appraisal district, and he will have an identification with him. If any taxpayer is concerned about their legitimacy, they should call the Appraisal office at 325-3725031. No appraiser will ever ask to come into anyone’s house. If anyone represents themselves as employees of the district or contractors and asks to see the interior of a taxpayer’s home, they should be denied access and the taxpayer should call law enforcement.
