The Pierian Study Club met for the first meeting of the new year in the civic center hospitality room on Thursday, September 14. An Autumn brunch was served to 25 active members and four associates by the Yearbook Committee. Hostesses were Marsha Smart, Gale Ivy, Audrey Smith, and Debbie Shahan as well as Maela Edmonson and Joanne Weik.
President Marcia Dyer welcomed members as new yearbooks were distributed, and Debbie Shahan reviewed upcoming programs. Cissy Williams, Project Committee Chairman, reported briefly on the Dove Project, Angel Tree, and ClearView Family Resources. Members enjoyed visiting and are looking forward to future meetings.
