Pierian Study Club holds April meeting

The Pierian Study Club held their April meeting at the lovely country home of Catherine Hanrahan. The ladies sat in the shad of the cabana by the pool and were served refreshments by the Nominating Committee members. Those lades are: Martha Leigh Whitten, Cindy Sloan, Lynn McHenry, and Shelly Mahan.

The theme for the program was “Landscaping for Serenity.” Donna McKinney spoke on the importance of having beautiful and serene surroundings, as well as being functional. She had a drawing of her own yard as it looked when she purchased her home and then after her changes and additions.

After the program, the ladies moved to the living room, and Celia Bell played a video of all the programs and antics that the group had this year. Great job, Celia!

The final meeting of the year will be Thursday, May 8th, at 6 p.m. in the home of Julie Edgerton. It’s our guest evening with spouses, and the theme is “Bluebonnets on the Bayou.” Hope everyone can make it.
