The 7th annual “A Night at the Museum” is almost here, and the weather is going to be perfect.

Saturday afternoon, March 2nd, the street between the Museum and Gazebo will be closed to traffic. Parking will be both north and south of the event, and thanks to the City of San Saba staff volunteers, there will be rides in from the distant parking.

At the ticket tent, you will receive a program listing the times of the various presentations which will all be given in our North room where the Jeep is located. That space is being rearranged to provide more seating this year. Each presentation will be given only once. Jane Hilton will be first scheduled at 4:15 p.m. Edward Flores will speak at 4:45 p.m. and Charly Kronberger will speak at 5:15 p.m.

The family activities happening in front of the museum will include Texas-themed games, crafts, and face painting with dinner service beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This year, we have a special treat in store for you. San Saba High School Art Students will display a sampling of art created this year. It will be located in the museum. There will also be a “sneak peek” of the mural created by last year’s students which will be auctioned off online as a fundraiser for San Saba art students later in the year.

If you have not yet bought your early bird ticket, see the ad on page 4.
