Judge Byron Theodosis, outgoing County Judge, presented the Oath of Office to: County Judge - Jody Fauley; District /County Clerk - Kim Wells; County Treasurer - Lois VanBeck; County Surveyor - George Amthor III; County Commissioner, Pct 3 - Mike Poe; County Commissioner, Pct 4 - Greg McGregor; and Justice of the Peace - Judge Sharon Blossman.

Raleigh Bryant was honored for an outstanding 1,422 points scored for Lady Coyotes Basketball so far in her high school career.

San Saba man and Brownwood man killed in head-on crash on Highway 45 near FM 2995. Eugenio Perez of San Saba and Richard Harris of Brownwood were pronounced dead at the scene.

First Annual San Saba Elementary School Spelling Bee winners announced: 1st Place Jay Garcia, 4th grade; 2nd Place - Wyatt Ward, 3rd grade; and 3rd Place - Erin Eudy, 4th grade.

Law Enforcement involved in a high-speed chase from San Saba county to Mills County. Subject was apprehended in Mills County after ramming San Saba County Deputy and San Saba Police Department vehicles, causing considerable damage.

San Saba Student Council presents a check to Donna Shahan representing Never Surrender Cancer Foundation in the amount of $5949.20 for the Think Pink T-shirt Project.

106th Battle of the River: Dillos defeat Eagles in dramatic fashion. San Saba 40, Goldthwaite 35.

KSSB partnered with the Economic Development Corporation to bring another beautification project to our community - a Welcome to San Saba sign at South High and Commerce Street.

Dove Project recognized our hometown heroes for Domestic ViolenceAwareness Month: Tom Murray, Bruce Stewart and Luis Rios of San Saba for countless hours of moving furniture for surviving victims. Domestic Violence shelters are temporary shelters for victims.

Native San Saban Gordon Hall receives FAA prestigious Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.

Students continue to withdraw from Texas Schools to homeschool at record high.
