Lenny's Life Lessons

Hello, San Saba, loves and how have you been? I am writing this on Memorial Day, but since I am a dachshund, my servant had to explain to me what the holiday meant. It is raining here on the coast. Do you suppose those are tears for all who lost their lives defending the country? My servant said her dad died coming home from Vietnam when she was 17. So very sad!

Sweet loves, I need your assistance. My servant says I have become a smart aleck teenager, and I need you guys to tell her what an adorable, irresistible, baby I am! Okay, so I sneak off and chew clothes to pieces so she isn’t able to wear them again, slip up and forget I am not outside and poop on the floor, race around the house as if I have a bee in my bonnet when I am not even wearing a bonnet, and wake her up at midnight so I can have a snack, conversation and play! I mean, I don’t sneak out the door, invite a gang over for wild parties, or destroy the house, at least not totally! Furthermore, just look at me, I have such innocent eyes!

I cannot believe it is almost June! I told my servant we need to go to Galveston so I can learn how to surf. She laughed and looked at me as if I had lost my mind! I continued and said, “Yep, I want to go to restaurant and eat a surf and turf meal!” She just shook her head and walked away! What am I going to do with her? We are sending you much love, sweet San Saba readers! Have a lovely week and find joy and beauty in that which is simple. We love you to chicken bits!
