Hello, beautiful San Saba loves! I hope each of you had a wonderful week! Mom and I felt much like baking loaves of bread if we spent too much time outside, but boy do I have exciting news!
Mom is a person who thinks outside the box, probably because she has never lived in one. Anyway, she bought this huge dog pen thinking she would use it to build a gate to close off the front of the yard. Well, Mandy Finch and Kathy Saucillo came over, and they not only put it together, but put up steel wiring all along the bottom of the fence where a small dachshund could scoot under! I have an entire yard now, to run, play, and be a real, free dog! I am so happy! Mom smiled and asked if I was glad she had an analytical mind? I did a head tilt and replied… “um, your name isn’t Anna, it is Lindy.” Sometimes I have to remind her of things.
Do any of you remember a song called My Favorite Things? Did you know dogs can have favorite things? If I wrote my entire list, I would need the entire paper, but of course I would have none of them without 1.) mom 2.) anything chicken 3.) Ginger snaps 4.) Mandy, Kathy, Lolli, & Marsha 5.) being with each of you every week here in San Saba!
I hope each of you know how very dear and special you are. Mom and I did not grow up here and yet feel more welcomed and loved than just about anywhere we have lived. There is a beauty and special warmth to San Saba, and we bask in its charm. Take good care, sweet friends…we love you.
Lenny
