Lenny's Life Lessons

I am writing this on March 19th, my servant’s 71st birthday. I got right in her face when I woke her up at 2 a.m. to search for new wrinkles, lines of another year, folds of folly, frazzle, and frantic Tom foolery, but all I saw was her slow sleepy smile telling me good morning.

We had a wonderful gathering of friends/dinner party last night. On the menu, my servant prepared Patches’ famous chapoopas’, (chalupas), and they were a rousing success! Now speaking for myself, the things were culinary torture! I actually got a small sampling of them the night before the party, and Saturday morning, my dachshund stomach hit the reject button all over the couch! My servant just took off the couch cover, made sure I was okay, and said no more spicy food for me!

She needs to stop thinking she is the boss of me; it is irritating!

I told you about my new friend, the Husky. Well, his name is Ghost, but I told my servant I want to call him Casper because he is friendly! I am not sure why, but she shook her head and turned the television off and suspended my watching privileges! She threatened kennel time out when she heard me mumble Boss Baby as I walked to my water bowl!

I hope each of you have an incredible week! My servant wasn’t built in a day, relationships aren’t either; sometimes they are smooth sailing and sometimes you are throwing up on the couch! Yeah, I may be perfectly adorable but I am not perfect, my servant isn’t perfect, but I promise we love you with all that we are every single day! Happy spring!
