Hello, my adorable San Saba loves! I missed you! I would love to say mom and I were having fun last week, but she had a horrid ear ache and I was down and out too! She got antibiotics, and I got a visit from Dr. Terrell. We are fine now!
The days on the gulf coast have been tongue dragging hot, and since I am a dachshund, low to the ground who often takes walks along a sidewalk, that gets painful! Quite honestly, I never knew water tasted so good! Mom had a glass of ice tea sitting on an end table the other day and it wasn’t that I wanted to drink it, I just wanted to cool my long dachshund nose in it! She exclaimed… “Lenny, that’s snot cool!” I just rubbed my nose on the carpet, laughed and walked away to lie near the fan!
I set up stuff on the table, a proposal I worked up, snacks, and of course, mom’s glass of unsweetened tea. I asked her to sit down, and told her I had an idea for a book which would be titled…Lindy and Lenny Two Life Loves! I think our story is magic, meant to be! I mean, I was in Georgia and ended up in her heart in Houston, Texas, exactly when she needed me the most and I needed her! She smiled, hugged me, and said, “sounds like a perfect collaboration to me, Lenny!”
My precious San Saba loves, I hope you have an amazing week until we speak again. Thank you to the first responders for their response to the terrible fire you guys experienced! My heart goes out to all involved! We love each of you beyond chicken bits!!
