SAN SABA– Receipts totaled
1,122 head with no sale being held at Mason on Monday due to the Easter holiday. The market was very active with strong demand. The real light weight stocker steers sold steady and the 300-600 lbs stocker steers were $5-$15 higher with 2 steers 363 lbs at $645.00
($2341.35) and 4 steers 525 lbs at
$565.00 ($2966.25). The stocker heifers sold $5-$15 higher. The feeder steers were $3-$7 higher with 25 steers 620 lbs at $500.00
($3100.00) and 6 steers 1056 lbs at $329.00 ($3474.24). The feeder heifers were $5 higher. Pairs and bred cows were in strong demand along with 15 True F-1 Tigerstripe heifers off the cows that weighed
588 lbs at $555.00 ($3263.40). Packer cows were $3-$6 higher, and bulls were $5-$6 higher.
