Receipts totaled 5,060 head. The market was extremely active with very strong demand. The stocker steers were $15 up to some instances $30 higher with 3 steers 387 lbs $620.00 ($2399.40) and 5 steers 551 lbs at $480.00
($2644.80). The stocker heifers were $13 higher and some instances
$25 higher with 17 heifers 530 lbs at $432.50 ($2292.25). The feeder steers were $10-$15 higher with 30 steers 685 lbs at $415.00
($2842.75) and 2 steers 713 lbs at
$415.00 ($2958.95). The feeder heifers were $10-$17 higher with
25 heifers 651 lbs at $380.00
($2473.80) and 6 heifers 752 lbs at
$336.00 ($2526.72). Packer cows were $7-$9 higher, and packer bulls were $5-$10 higher with the high bull at $215. Pairs and bred cows were $150 and some instances
$300 higher.
