Receipts totaled 2,600 head. The market continued to be active this week with good demand. The stocker steers were steady with 3 steers 428 lbs at $485.00 ($2075.80) and 19 steers at 542 lbs at $407.50 ($2028.65). The stocker heifers were steady with 6 heifers 510 lbs at $397.50 ($2027.25). The feeder steers were steady to $2 higher with 18 steers 659 lbs at $366.00 ($2411.94), and the feeder heifers were steady. The packer cows were steady, and bulls were steady to $1 higher. Pairs and bred cows were steady and in good demand. The 6 Charolais bulls off the Robert Read Ranch avg $6625, the 6 Red Angus bulls off Charles Braden avg $6250, the 7 Angus bulls from the RR Ranch avg $6143, The 5 Hereford bull off Keith Rogers avg $4900, and the 8 Charolais bulls from the Dybdal Ranch avg $3969.
