Receipts totaled 6,931 head. The market continued to be active this week with it being stronger toward the end of the week. A choice offering of weaned and non weaned calves were on hand with the light weight stocker steers selling steady and the heavier weight stocker steers selling $10 higher with 7 steers 478 at $500.00 ($2390.00) and 4 steers 504 lbs at $490.00 ($2496.60). The lighter weight stocker heifers were steady to $2 higher and the heavier weight stocker heifers were $5 higher with 21 heifers 489 lbs at $460.00 ($2249.40) and 4 heifers at 591 lbs at $408.00 ($2411.28). The feeder steers were steady to $3 higher with 12 steers 784 lbs at $336.00 ($2634.24), and the feeder heifers were steady to $8 higher. The packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were in very strong demand.
