Receipts totaled 2504 with no sale being held at Mason on Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday. A choice offering of cattle were on hand with the stocker steers selling $10-$15 higher with 8 steers 428 lbs at
$580.00 ($2482.40) and 42 steers at 534 lbs at $475.00 ($2536.50). The stocker heifers were $7--
$15 higher with 7 heifers 384 lbs at $595.00 ($2284.80) and
35 heifers 516 lbs at $465.00
($2399.40). The feeder steers were $4-$8 higher with 52 steers
745 lbs at $367.00 ($2734.15) and the feeder heifers were $4--
$5 higher. Packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady and in good demand.
