Receipts were reduced to 1,410 head this week due to the good rains that fell in the area. The stocker steers were $5-$8 higher with 11 steers 392 lbs at $455.00 ($1783.60) and 2 steers 598 lbs at $320.00 ($1913.60). The stocker heifers were steady with 26 heifers 453 lbs at $332.50 ($1506.23) and 2 heifers 580 lbs at $297.50 ($1725.50). The feeder steers were steady, and feeder heifers were steady with 3 heifers 735 lbs at $260.00 ($1911.00). Packer cows were $4-$5 higher, and packer bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady on a limited test. The 24 Registered Brangus bulls of the Martin Bruni Ranch avg $5469 with the top bull at $6750.
