Deryl Hoyt, Broker and Owner, started Hoyt Real Estate in 2016. Hoyt Real Estate is located at 503 E. Wallace Street, just across the street from the courthouse in beautiful San Saba.
In 1900, Deryl’s great-grandfather was an independent businessman who also had a business on the courthouse square. Deryl stated his grandfather and father also had San Saba businesses, and currently, his oldest son has a business in San Saba. He added, “I have always heard it said that if you love what you do for a living every day, then you will never feel like you work a day in your life. I have found that to be true in real estate.”
Deryl admits Hoyt Real Estate goes above and beyond what standard real estate companies do. In other words, Deryl's business also connects new people to the area with organizations, churches, friends, personal interests, and more by making referrals.
According to Deryl, he and his staff also help answer questions about property values, as well as assist current and past clients with property tax issues free of charge.
Deryl loves the excitement of new places and new faces, and assisting people with some of the biggest and most important decisions of their lives. He added, “My county is such a treasure, and it seems undiscovered or unidentified by most people outside of our area. I love to show people what we really have going on here that makes for a true QUALITY of life. We have a richness of outdoor resources and genuinely outstanding Christian country folks. I sometimes feel like I am a host showing people around my home and helping them to feel comfortable and welcome.”
