Come to “A Night at the Museum” on Saturday, March 4th. There will be many activities happening in front of the museum, some familiar and some new.
Inside, you can enjoy our new exhibits and learn some Texas history from our guest speakers. We have made a few changes to make it easier to hear the talks. This year, the presentations will all be in the room at the north end of the museum with a sound system and chairs.
Our first guest speaker, at 4:15 p.m., will be Patsy Stewart. She will talk about her greatgrandfather, John O. Meusebach, who led the German immigration company charged with settling German immigrants in central Texas in the 1840’s. In 1847, Meusebach negotiated a treaty with the Comanches on the San Saba River. Please join us for a lovely evening in the park.
