There will be a Painting With Friends gathering at the Cafe on Tuesday, September 27th, at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested in joining in on the fun can go to the Painting With Friends Facebook page and register, or call me at the cafe and let me know you're coming so Jeramy can bring enough supplies. No skill is required. We all start with a blob and end up with a pretty painting, and we all have a good time!

The Cherokee JV and Jr. High teams both played in Evant last Thursday night, and they both came away with wins.

As Great Britain mourns their Queen of 70 years, Id like to say that I personally feel their grief. She wasn't my Queen, but I feel her loss as a lifelong role model of grace and strength of character. I pray for peace and comfort for her people and family, and that King Charles can carry on her legacy.

I wish you all a wonderful week, and we'll see you Around the Corner.
