The Bend News

Hello from Bend!

It has been yet another busy week, and there are quite a few announcements to make!

We “sprang forward” and are probably all still adjusting to the time change. I don’t know about you, but I’ve already woken up late twice this week, am exhausted, and still don’t know what time it is. Ha!

I was smart last night though….I wore a green shirt to bed so that my kiddos didn’t wake me up with pinches this morning! By the way, don’t forget to wear green for Saint Patrick’s Day today!

We have a few birthdays this week: Happy Birthday wishes go out to Jordan Messer (March 15th) and to Laura Beth Hicks (March 17th). May your year be filled with countless blessings!!!

Grady and Diana Gibson just celebrated an anniversary on March 15th! Congratulations and cheers to many more years to cherish together!

Orabeth and Jim Hicks are the proud grandparents of Chloe James Poe, born February 7, 2022, in Fredericksburg. Chloe was born weighing 8 pounds and 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long! Her parents, Elizabeth and Winston Poe, and big sister Zoe Poe, welcomed her home in Richland Springs.

REMINDER: This Saturday, March 19th, we will be having the Bend Community Meeting at the Old Bend Schoolhouse. We hope to see you all there at 6 p.m. for a potluck dinner!

Please remember that most area schools are out this week for Spring Break - be safe on the roads with all of the traveling!

Until next week,

Brandie from the Bend
