This week, Lewvon Hicks welcomed her two daughters to Texas, Belinda from South Carolina and Eva from Sweden. She has had so much fun since with them.
Eva and Pat Millican celebrated their birthdays at Pat and Bonnie Millican’s pool. It was a wonderful party. Orabeth Hicks brought her famous peanut butter ice cream. The recipe for her ice cream is in the Bend cookbook; if you have a copy, it is on page 442 in the newest edition. I recommend trying out her recipe. It is the best!
I just want to remind everyone that Memorial service for Raymond Hicks is this coming Sunday, October 6th, at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Campground (1032 County Road 432 at Chappel).
