Greetings from Bend!
Thank you to everyone who came out and donated last weekend at the Community Fish Fry. We did great! We raised over 4,000 dollars. We had a great turnout.
Our November meeting will be held on November 16th. Please join us!
It is so wonderful to see people from our community get together. Every week at the Bend Methodist Church a few of us get together every Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. Recently we have been bringing old photos and news clippings, and everyone talks about them and adds any information that they may have.
It is very fun, and everyone is invited.
Barefoot Fishing Camp has closed for the season; they will reopen on January 8th, 2025.
Sulphur Springs Camp is also closed for the season, and they will reopen on January 3rd, 2025.
Colorado Bend State Park is having their second drawn hunt of the season, and they will be closed from November 1st at 2:00 p.m. until November 10th at 2:00 p.m.
This past week, my husband Anthony and I have been in New York. It is very chilly up here. I hope the colder weather follows us home. It has been such a joy to be here.
