Alice in Wonder Land

There are times when you do something and ask yourself, 'why didn't I do that months or even years ago?' I said this three days ago when I propped my glass storm door open with a book so that my cat Dinah can go in and out to my screened porch. I don't need to get up and let her out now. Yeah!

My husband Larry (died 11-22-20) made trips to Mexico and raised funds to build churches, installed a windmill and helped orphanages since 1996. In 2006, we sold Abundant Life Ministries, a small country church near Hopewell, Ohio, 10 miles from Zanesville. We bought a church in San Saba, Texas, and a home on ninth street. We were working at the church when Pastor Bobby Duncan's wife stopped and invited us to The Shepherd's Touch, where non-denominational pastors and wives met once a month.

This was an answer to prayer for new residents and a special bond of friendships and serving God.

My daughter Jenny and I saw the movie Twister on Saturday, September 14th, at the Zanesville Mall theatre. The big screen made the tornado scenes terrifying and realistic. Although this was a movie, the occurrences of tornados, wildfires, hurricanes and earthquakes are happening now all over the world. The best protection from these occurrences is Everlasting Life Insurance because you are a Christian.

Psalm 46:1-3...NIV...God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah
