Last week the weather was looking like spring, and some of my flowers sprung up. Then we got around three inches of snow starting Friday, February 16th. Such is the weather in Zanesville, Ohio.
It was great to see Lenny's Life Lessons on page 13 of the February 8th edition of the SSN&S! The loving dachshund announced that his mom had moved back after almost two years away, and he was being introduced to the most wonderful people. How wonderful you have moved back to San Saba, a great place to live!
On page two of the edition mentioned above was a photo and article about the 8th Annual Hunting With Soldiers event January 13th. This report brought memories of this event when my husband Larry helped Winfield before his death of covid 11-22-20.
This morning my companion cat Dinah and I were enjoying watching a squirrel eat the birdseed on the ground until it decided to get the seed from the hanging feeder!
I thought I put the feeder out of reach of the squirrel! That is life! We enjoy the sweetness of the day and then comes sickness, disappointment, death or hardship. Jesus spoke this to a multitude of people...Luke 12:22&23...KJV...Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment...12:31...But rather seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.
