It is with great joy that I am responding to the new article, Lenny's Life Lessons.

My 11½-year-old Chocolate Lab Ellie would be three times your size but would love you unconditionally with a heart as big as Texas because she was born there. So, Lenny and Ellie's Moms have a love for each other with their hearts connected to San Saba, Texas.

Here is a recipe for no bake cookies that are easy, good and nutritious. Dogs will like them also, but I am not telling Ellie because they are doggone good. And she would eat them all!

Mix the following three ingredients together, form in small balls, place on wax paper and press them down: 3/4 cup old fashioned oats; 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter; 2 tablespoons honey. Pull wax paper up around them, place on aluminum foil and wrap it up.

My neighbor, Steve Harris, 68, died last Tuesday of a heart attack at the hospital here in Zanesville, Ohio, where he had driven himself with symptoms of chest pains. I know his widow Nicole's pain and loss. Words from a song are so true...I don't know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day....But I know Who holds tomorrow and I know Who holds my hand.

On Sunday, March 5th, my pastor, Mike Foster, gave his 31st sermon on The Kingdom of God. I have loved them all because that was my husband Larry's favorite topic for his sermons. Chapter 6 in the book of Matthew has good advise: 'seek the Kingdom, don't worry about anything, live a righteous life.' This takes obedience, developing a Kingdom mind set, living according to the laws of God and love Him with all your heart.
