Last Tuesday, Judy Crothers came at 10 a.m. with her new friend Jim, and we went to the Muskingum County Fair. It was Senior Day, and we got in free!
On Wednesday evening, I attended a Bible Study at the Northgate Church in Dresden. I met with the pastors Mike and Melody Foster after the Bible Study. We exchanged information about their church structure and Abundant Life's mission work in Mexico. After praying about the five churches I have attended in this area and getting information about them, I am going to join the Northgate Church in Dresden.
On Friday, I went to Newark to get my Ohio auto license tags and drivers license. I was able to get my drivers license but need information from Capitol One who has my title. It is so frustrating finding out what needs to be done.
Pastor Tom and Cynthia went to Mexico Friday, August 13th, and were notified that her brother died, so they came back to San Saba. When I was on my way to church Sunday, Cynthia texted me that her daddy died and she needed prayer. This morning, there was a text from Cynthia that her mother was taken to the hospital and later the doctor's report seemed to be encouraging. Although I have responded with love, prayers and support, I would certainly like to be in Texas right now because they were there for me.
The River radio station I listen to every day is having their fall Share-a-thon. I called this morning and contributed. They recorded my conversation about how the music has helped me, and have played it several times. I am so privileged that they chose me to help them.
I Corinthians 10:31 – Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
