On Tuesday, November 5th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm [WHILE YOU ARE OUT VOTING ANYWAY!!], run up to the Civic Center and check out this year's Health Fair! It’s sponsored by the City of San Saba and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services.
Currently, besides the usual Information and Outreach that can answer your questions, there will be vendors handling BMI Checks, Cholesterol Checks, Oximeter [Pulse], Blood Sugar Checks, Flu and Covid shots [some will be for Adults and Children who qualify under the TVFC/ASN program].
BUT here is something really special… “This year features nocost flu shots offered to FARMERS and those who WORK WITH LIVESTOCK.”
