    Dear Cherokee Home for Children Family, This year’s Ladies Day theme, “The Ties That Bind,” came to life the moment you walked through the doors. Our gym was absolutely covered in pink bows, big ones, little ones, bows everywhere you looked! It was the perfect (and very cheerful!) reminder of the sweet connections that tie us together.

    We were thrilled to welcome a record crowd of over 160 attendees— and that’s in addition to our own ladies and girls! The room was filled with laughter, warm conversations, and so much encouragement. Women traveled from churches all across Texas and beyond to spend the day with us, and what a blessing they were.

    Our girls loved serving throughout the event—greeting guests, helping with meals, and making sure everyone felt right at home. They truly shined! Even more special was watching them receive encouragement in return. The fellowship, the kind words, hugs and smiles poured right back into their hearts.

    There is something beautiful about seeing generations of faithful women gathered together, sharing stories and strengthening one another. It was a joyful, full, pink-bow-wrapped kind of day from beginning to end.
