Congratulations to the Stars and Stripes Committee for another outstanding Fourth of July Celebration event. There were fewer vendors this year, but I suspect the heat was the issue. The parade was just small town impressive. I loved the giant houseboat that held the cheerleaders.

Our Fourth of July celebrations have snuck up on me. I am diligently working to finish the baby quilt I started at the ladies quilting retreat. I opted to hand finish the quilt, and it is very time consuming. If the committee doesn’t like it, I have a few other items they can pick.
