Michael Payton, Worship Pastor, First Baptist Church Hamlin
Man is dead in sin and subject to God’s wrath. Our God is good and just, and His justice demands that the payment for sin must be made. Christ died on the cross and bore the full weight of the wrath of God for the sins of all those who would believe. When those who would believe hear the preaching of the Word and are regenerated by the work of the Holy Spirit, they repent and place their faith in Christ. All who do will be saved and continue on in repentance, faith, and sanctification until the day they enter into His eternal presence.
In a nutshell, repent and believe in Christ for your salvation. There is no other way.
