The Richland Springs Report

I have been in Costa Rica for a week, and the beautiful sound of rain still makes me smile. This evening I am listening to the happy chirping of tree frogs. Early this morning, I watched an agouti make its cautious way across the front yard. Before I could get out my camera, it sensed my presence and took off into the jungle.

Earnie and Shane have been taking great care of Russ and I. They live on a hill, and walking around the area stresses these old lungs.

We walked to town yesterday, and I was amazed that I made the multi-mile walk without Shane having to push me back up the hill to the house. We are heading to a chocolate and coffee plantation. I feel my mouth watering at the thought of the yum I am facing.

Congratulations to our football boys for their 56-0 win over High Island. The volleyball girls look awesome for a first-year team. Keep the wins coming, Coyotes.

Bernice Adams is getting to move home now that repairs on her house are completed. She has many items to replace after the fire, but church members will pitch in and help her out. Please pray for our country, congress, police officers and service personnel. Most of all, pray for our precious troops and their family.

P.S. I am trying to send some of this lovely rain your way.
