Father,
We know that You are loving
And we know that You are good
But that's hard to remember
When things don't go like they should
Or rather when life doesn't
Pan out as we would like
We are but mortal beings
With limits to our sight
We do not hold the future
We cannot see all ends
We are not privileged to have knowledge
Of Your perfect plans
At times You may seem distant
At times we feel alone
In these times help us remember
Who is on the throne
You know of our hurts
You know of our loss
You know it all to well
Your Son was on the cross
Because of that we know
We have hope in Him
We lean now on Your peace
And pray for strength again
