Dear Editor:
As many of you know, the County has chosen to change EMS services from Lifeguard/AMR to Hamilton EMS beginning August 1. There are several reasons for this change, but it was not due to the quality of services rendered by Lifeguard/AMR.
I want to personally thank the employees of Lifeguard/ AMR EMS service for their work and commitment to the citizens of San Saba County. As a member of the San Saba County First Responder Organization, I have worked closely with them on some occasions, and they have been very professional and committed to providing good patient care. On behalf of the citizens of San Saba County, I want to publicly say THANK YOU to them. Former EMS Chief Chris Furry, Current EMS Chief Josh Chapman, San Saba County EMS FRO Ronnie McDonald and the rest of the crew have worked to provide a good service to our county and have been good to work with. THANK YOU.
