Jordan Cattle Auction

Mason & San Saba | July 23, 2026

Receipts totaled 1,648 head. The market continued to move lower again this week with the futures market and fat cattle market being softer. The continued heat throughout all the feedyard states has definitely hurt the fat cattle market. The stocker steers sold $10-$15 lower and some instances $20 lower. The stocker heifers sold $10 lower and in some instances $15 lower with 12 heifers 498 lbs $445.00 ($2216.10). The feeder steers were $4-$12 lower and feeder heifers were steady to $5-$8 lower. Packer cows were $3 higher, and packer bulls were $4 higher. Pairs and bred cows sold higher and in very strong demand.
