Happy 250th Birthday good ol USA

It will be known as our semiquincentennial anniversary. It can be a great time for families and friends to get together and enjoy the great freedoms this country provides. We are very blessed to live in the land of the free because of the brave; many have given their lives for our freedom.

The Declaration of Independence became official on July 4, 1776, and the pledge of allegiance was written to express what we stand for and says, “I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America And to the republic for Which it Stands One Nation Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty And Justice For All.”

They have already started decorating with American flags flying in front of homes, in yards and with ribbons around trees. They also have plans for cookoffs, bake offs, and parades just to mention a few things, but there will be many more events happening.

So many places in our world are not having the freedoms we have, and it could happen here!

We need to pray for those countries and their people, but we also need to pray for our country. We have freedom of Religion, and it was founded with God in mind, and maybe we should pray and ask God to protect our land and thank Him for it.

I personally enjoy a new life since I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Oh, yes by all means, enjoy the holiday.
