Plan on being prepared about two weeks in advance of the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. That way, the local stores can replenish before the great number of expected tourists get here.

If you have a doctor’s appointment on Monday, April 8th, you might want to change it to the following week.

We expect to start seeing folks coming into the communities that are in the path starting as early as Wednesday, April 3rd, picking up Thursday and Friday. By the time the weekend gets here, it will look like there is a big festival in town. So, give yourself a little extra time, even to go just across town.
