County Judge’s Update

The vast majority of health care professionals recommend that our entire adult population, with priority given to front line health and first responder individuals, be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Both my wife and I have been vaccinated and have had little or no adverse effects, as is the rule. It is my hope that all sign up for vaccination using the instructions as noted below. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE A BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE PATIENT OR NOT and vaccination will be at no cost to you. If you have health insurance, they might be charged.

When your priority group is reached and you are notified, I hope that all will take advantage of the vaccine, with a few exceptions such as women that either are or might be expecting.

Our medical personnel assure me that the vaccine is safe, and encourage us to be vaccinated as quickly as we are given the opportunity.

Remember the joke:

Give the vaccine first to the politicians, and

If they die, then the country will be safe,

If they don’t die, then the vaccine is safe. I am your resident politician, I took it, and I am still alive.

So, let’s get rid of this menace.
