Oh how I enjoy sending and receiving greetings with such great memories, sharing and updates. I remember the December concerts with the SWOSWT that were festive as we sang songs to honor the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Charlotte Berryhill and I rode with Karen Whiting to the concerts that were usually around two hours that seemed shorter as we shared our lives and gifts. These dear friends are in Texas and I am in Ohio, but they are close when I look at the angel Karen gave me and the Joy To The World cups that Charlotte gave me.
The title to my daily devotional on Monday, December 16, was Dealing With Disappointment. Moses was disappointed and hurt because he left his brother Aaron in charge while He was on a mountain receiving the Ten Commandments from God. He returned to find Israel in anarchy, idolatry and unspeakable perversion. He felt like giving up but went to God for direction and help. As I look back on 2024, there have been times I have felt lonely, sad, frustrated and wanted to give up. THEN there would be a phone call, text or visit from someone that God sent my way to encourage me. So here comes 2025 with trials and temptations...so what! Isaiah 41:10...NIV...So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous hand.
