The Richland Springs Lady Coyotes Cross County team competed in a district meet in Lometa, Texas on Wednesday, October 5th, and placed 2nd as a team. Individual placements: 1st place: Rylie Eckert (with a time of 13.29.6) 2nd place: Landry Brown (with a time of 14:10.

The eighth game of the year for the 5-2 Armadillos will be against the 4-2 Bangs Dragons this Friday night at Rogan Field; kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. There is a lot riding on the game for both teams.

The Armadillos (5-2, 1-2 in district) notched their first district win of the season over the Bearcats from DeLeon (3-3, 0-3 in district) 35-21 last Friday evening. The win snapped a two-game losing skid for the Armadillos and kept their playoff hopes alive.
