Texas Treasure Hunt

I am part of the Texas Treasure Hunt sponsored by the San Saba County Museum. Use your Clue Card to find me. Then, put one of my stickers next to the correct clue on your card.

The clues include a road number and a latitude and longitude position. You can use your phone to find me just by entering the coordinates directly into the search window on either Maps or Google Maps. On Maps, the coordinates must be enclosed in square brackets with the latitude and longitude separated by a comma. Example: [31.20338, –98.71883]. Google Maps does not require the brackets, but you still need the comma. You will find those coordinates on clue card #2.

Clue card # 4 will be available this Friday at: Alamo Pecan, Rylander Library, Simplicity Vintage Home, J.C. Campbell Mercantile, San Saba Olive Oil, Skelton Hardware in Richland Springs, also Cherokee Corner Café. It is never too late to get started. There will be prizes for completing the cards at the San Jacinto Celebration on Saturday, April 24th, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
