Junior Mariana Macedo has been selected as January’s Choose Kindness Award winner at San Saba High School. A dedicated and conscientious student, Mariana consistently attends classes with responsibility and treats everyone with genuine respect.
She was chosen for her academic excellence and the warmth she brings to her surroundings through acts of kindness. Mariana proactively assists others— whether asked or by offering help on her own initiative. She balances a demanding schedule of dual-credit classes with extracurricular activities, including tennis, demonstrating strong time management and commitment.
These qualities make her an outstanding role model for underclassmen and a deserving recipient of the Choose Kindness award, sponsored by the National Honor Society to celebrate students who embody compassion and positivity in daily school life.
