Seventeen students, coached by Misty Moellendorf & Deanne Cromer, competed virtually in the Centex UIL Journalism Contest last December. Our “pod” consisted of five 1A-3A schools (Canadian, San Isidro, Sabine Pass, Jacksboro, and San Saba). Our Students did exceptionally well considering they were juggling athletic events, dual credit finals, and other extracurricular events. Thanks to all of them for carving out some time to compete! The High School UIL Academic District Meet will be on April 3 in Mason.
