Senior Night at Armadillo Arena!!

Have you ever noticed that good things – lots of good things – come in threes? Truly a wonderful reference during Senior Night which was held at Armadillo Arena on February 2, 2024, as special recognition was given to a group of three athletes and their parents. Our Senior Varsity Basketball Players are Macy AnaLane Sebastian, the daughter of Tim and Mindy Sebastian; Ethan Gonzales, the Son of Avilio Gonzales, Jr. and Amber Everett; and Lane Miller, the son of Seth and Melissa Oliver. The three outstanding athletes were each presented signed Team Game Balls.

What a feat this group has endured – from schedule changes, effects of education and competing through the covid fears, injuries, hours upon hours of commitment to practice and love of the game! This trio has been involved in just about every academic and athletic event at San Saba ISD. They have pushed through and battled, and the adversity has made them become better in skill and in personal growth.

Each one of them expressed gratitude to their families, coaches, school faculty, and especially the great fans of San Saba. And, they are not done competing as both teams will finish out their seasons in extended play-off matches.

Also, congratulations to Macy AnaLane Sebastian honored as Basketball Sweetheart, and Lane Miller receiving Basketball Beau honors for 2024. Good Luck to these three and all the Seniors of 2024.
