The San Saba Tennis Association will be having a Tennis Tournament on Sunday, November 14th, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Tournament is a benefit tournament for the Rosa and Martin Luna Family.
The Luna's house burned down on October 29th. Their family lost everything that was in their house. One of their daughters is a senior in high school and plays tennis for the high school team.
Donations will be taken in place of a set entry fee. Donate however much you would like. We will take cash or checks. If paying by check, make check out to San Saba Tennis Association, then we will get the money to the family. If you don’t want to play and would like to make a donation, come by the new tennis courts between 2 and 6 p.m. to make your donation.
Events will be singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. You may enter one, two, or three events. Play will be either prosets or regular sets depending on number of entries. In doubles and mixed doubles, if you want to play with your son or daughter, that will be okay. We are going to divide divisions up by the total age of both partners. In singles, we will place you as close as we can with your age group. This tournament is for middle school, high school kids and adults.
Prizes will also be given out through out the tournament to adults.
To enter: Text or call or email Ralph Cox by noon, Saturday, November 13.
Give name, age and events you want to enter, and if playing doubles or mixed doubles give name of partner and age also. If you want to play doubles and do not have a partner, come at 1:45 p.m. and we will find you a partner.
