Pre-K students listen to a story about colors of the rainbow.
Last week, our junior high Indians traveled to Santa Anna. They won with a 26-14 final score. There was no JV or varsity game last week. This week, junior high game is cancelled due to injuries, but varsity will take on Richland Springs here at home. We will have a black out pep rally upon the return of the junior high team Thursday evening.
At the San Saba cross country meet, Weston Woolsey placed 2nd and James Beck finished 4th in the JV division. Tilar Turman and Payton Hanley both medaled at the meet as well. Good job to these athletes!
Mrs. Courtney’s Pre-K class has officially started their Color Me Healthy program. This week, they did some singing, dancing, and reading about the colors of the rainbow. They learned about the different colors we eat and the different colors we see while playing outside.
Fall Festival planning is at hand, and we need to be collecting items for silent auction baskets. We will also have a PTC meeting next week on Tuesday the 10th at 4:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
