Last week was Spring Break, and Cherokee ISD students were given 10 days off from school. It was much needed and much deserved for students and staff!

Despite the break from school, track continued for our high school students. Seven student athletes were able to compete at the track meet in Mason. Joey Bond sailed the discus 179’ 4” this week at the Mason track meet setting a new school record and his own PR. We are proud of you!

Progress reports went home early this week. Please check these to stay up to date with your student’s grades. The home/ school connection is absolutely imperative for student success. Connect with your child’s teacher to see how you can work together to end the year strong.

We will have some days off from school soon that are not on the official school calendar. April 5th will be a half day, releasing at noon. April 6th there will be no school all day. Please make arrangements for this change.

Have a great week!
