News From Cherokee ISD

We are so happy to be back in school after a long and much needed break. It is so good to see the halls filled with smiling faces.

In sports news, our varsity Lady Indians played their district opener against Brookesmith over the break and came out on top. They will play at home on Friday, January 13th against Lohn at 6 p.m. with the varsity boys game to follow.

Prior to the break, elementary and junior high competed at the academic UIL district meet. Elementary results have been reported previously, but I will post junior high results here now.
